WHEN THINGS AREN’T GOING WELL, HIT “PAUSE” AND “RESTART”
Some days things just don’t go so well. Some days you feel like you’ve fallen and you can’t get up, and you don’t even want to get up. Some days you feel like you’re stuck in a rut. You feel like you’re wading in yucky muck. You’re convinced someone turned off your go-power and your whole system has been disabled. You’re in complete shut-down mode. Nothing is functioning. But wait.....do NOT be dismayed. There’s something you can do. There’s a remote in your mind. The first thing you need to do is hit “PAUSE.” Step back from whatever you’re doing, take a deep breath and momentarily let the world go by. Talk to yourself and say, ”Now wait a minute. Things can’t be this bad. I need to change my channel. I don’t need all this drama stuff. I refuse to let some ONE or some THING disable me and turn off my power. I need to take charge of my remote.” Take another deep breath and hit “RESTART.” And just like that..... You have a fresh beginning. You have a new channel. It can happen that fast. Now....whatever you do, don’t lose your remote or allow anyone else to take it. Keep it handy. Use “PAUSE” and “RESTART” whenever you need to change your outlook.
I’ve had to learn how to pause, and restart. “Go” does not mean you cannot stop. Thank you Chuck.

Colleen, you are so right. “Go” is good,. Stopping for a “respite” is also good. It’s all a matter of timing.
