Everyone wants to have Inner Peace,
to experience mental and emotional
calmness, free of stress and worries, and a
feeling of happiness and freedom to just be.
Here are a few point to help yo achieve it.
1. Realize that no one else can give you peace.
it’s up to you to make it happen.
2. Focus on viewing and accepting life as it is,
not what you think it should be.
3. Let go of expectations, especially what you
expect others to do for you to make you happy.
Expectations almost always lead to disappointment.
4. Let go of the past and any feelings of anger
and guilt that you have associated with it. You
can’t have peace when you hang on to anger and guilt.
5. Resist being in a hurry. Being in a rush to do
things destroys any possibility of peacefulness.
Make every effort to make changes in your
life that allow you to take your time and be more
deliberate and methodical in your thoughts and actions.
6. Don’t allow the behaviors and opinions of others
to take control of your mind and feelings.
Refuse to let them determine how you feel or
fill your mind with negative thoughts.
7. Start the morning be reciting the Serenity Prayer:
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I
cannot change, the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
8. Remember, having a peace of mind is up to you.
It doesn’t just happen. You have to seek it and be
willing to do what it takes to achieve it.
