  1. Look in the mirror and say, “You know, I really admire and respect you. You have been through so much and just look at you. You’re still standing. You amaze me. That’s a major accomplishment”
  2. And then say to the image in the mirror, “You know what? I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I’m going to do everything I can to make you feel really special because that’s what you are…..special!”
  3. Thirdly say, “I want you to be strong. From this day forward I want you to have the courage to be yourself. Don’t be afraid of being different. The only thing you have to fear is being the same as everyone else.”
  4. Fourthly say, “I really like you and I’m going to give you permission to do four things: love yourself, treat yourself with respect, be happy, and heal your hurts.”
  5. Finally say to the image, “I know there are a few things you really want to improve about yourself. I want to help you with that. Choose the one thing you want to work on first and let’s get started……TODAY! Not tomorrow. Let’s do it!”
