Many people refuse to believe it, but everyone has creativeness within them.

Unfortunately, when people think about creativity, they think that it’s something only great artists have, like Michelangelo, Van Gogh, and Rembrandt, or great innovators like Walt Disney or Steve Jobs. These individuals are the exceptions. It’s true that they have something special that most people don’t have.

However, creativity as a broad concept isn’t limited to great artists or revolutionary thinkers. Creativity simply asks individuals to use their imagination to solve problems, discover fresh ways of viewing or expressing something, or create something with their hands.

If you are willing to look at the world in new ways from what you typically do, or if you are willing to let go of your old patterns of doing things and try doing things differently, or if you are willing to use your imagination to bring together different aspects of a problem that you hadn’t considered before to solve the problem, or if you are willing to create something with your hands, you are being creative.

There is no way to deny it. You ARE capable of being creative. It’s within you. It’s there. All you have to do is believe it and give yourself permission to nurture it. Being creative is part of who you are.
