BITS OF WIT AND WISDOM ON A SATURDAY MORNING

Saturday is the day almost everyone
looks forward to.
It’s a change of pace day.
It’s a catch up day.
It’s a recreation day.
It’s an everything day.
For me, this Saturday is an
opportunity to share some
thoughts that are swirling in my head.
Here they are.
1. Success is like a game of chess. You have to make
the right moves to win the game.  Your most important
move is often your first one.
2. Always be willing to give something up in order to
achieve a goal.
3. Those who learn best are those who listen well.
4. How we face tomorrow often depends on how
we live today.
5. The consistency of one’s effort is what demonstrates
character, not the momentary glory of achievement.
6. Review your footsteps of yesterday and you will learn
much about yourself.
7. Anger is often fueled by things we wish we could change
but can’t. So direct your anger only at what you have the
power to change and let the rest go. You will be amazed
at how relieved and happy you feel.
8. Motivation is not lighting the fire under someone.
You can only encourage someone to light their own fire within.
9. One of the most difficult things to handle in life is
failure, followed closely by success.
10. If you look for the best in others, you will discover
good qualities to develop in yourself.
