THE SKY’S THE LIMIT, OR IS IT?

Some say,
“The sky’s the limit.”
But is it?
When we’re talking about
hopes, dreams, and possibilities,
should the word “limit”
even be in our vocabulary?
In a way,
the sky represents life,
and if we’re holding our head downward
we’ll never see the sky’s grandeur,
the spectacular sunrises,
the dazzling sunsets,
the breathtaking rainbows.
And if we do look upward
but see only dark, dreary storm clouds,
we’ll miss the endless parade of
shapes, formations, and figures
that march by.
No, the sky is not the limit.
To find out, don’t look downward.
Look upward.
Reach for the sky,
and you’ll likely touch the starts.
