I went to the garden today

and the Black-eyed Susans seemed to smile.

I smiled back

and felt a moment of joy.

Life is often like that, I thought.

If I smile at someone,

They will often smile back.

It makes my day.

Perhaps it makes theirs as well.

Funny how one smile can change your whole outlook.
