Life is precious.
It comes just once.
That’s what makes it so special.
We have but one chance at it.
However, death often comes twice.
The first time is when something
dies within us while we yet live.
This is the worst of the two deaths.
It’s being alive but feeling dead.
It’s living but feeling suffocated by loss
and carrying the burden daily.
The second death is physical..
We will all experience a physical death.
To everything there is a season...
a time to be born and a time to die.
Though we must all walk through
the valley of the shadow of death,
we need not fear the journey.
Death is merely the passage we take
to get through the valley.
As we walk, we are comforted to know
that though death can end our life,
it cannot contain us.
The sting of death cannot destroy us.
For there is life
on the other side of the valley.
Victory is ours.
