Here’s a thought for the day: The change you create changes you. It’s two-fold. Two for one. It’s buy one, get one. It’s a good deal. Vijay Gupta had a dream. He wanted to create change. His dream was to provide world-class musical performances to the homeless and the incarcerated in Los Angeles, California. He was one of the founders of STREET SYMPHONY. He dreamed. He believed. He and his team made it happen. He and his 70 world-class musicians now present monthly programs at the Midnight Mission at Skid Row shelters and county jails. They have presented over 400 free, world-class musical engagements. Does it make a difference? Does it create change? Ask Brian, a homeless man struggling with addictions. He went to Midnight Mission for HELP. There he rediscovered his love for music. He joined the Street Symphony. He soon was asked to perform a solo from Handel’s “Messiah,” known as ”The People That Walked in Darkness.” Words from Isaiah say, ”The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light.” They changed. Brian changed. He recovered. He overcame. Changes in people like Brian changed Vijay Gupta. To see your dream come true changes you. To reach your desired goals changes you. Keep dreaming of the ways you can create change. Ways that you can make things happen. Never give up. Remember.... The change you create changes you.
Thank you, Chuck……..We enjoy and grow from your creative words of wisdom. Wishing you & Mur much happiness and love ❤️
