I was thinking about memories as I sat on the bench this morning in my meditation garden. I decided to try something I had never done before. I decided to take 10 minutes of my time, reflect back over my life, and come up with the 10 most memorable memories of my life. For 10 minutes I flooded my mind with years and years of wonderful memories. Just when I thought I had a tentative list, another memory would pop up and I would adjust my list. I soon discovered that this was a near impossible task. Yet this little exercise was one of the best things I have done in a long, long time. It made me realize how blessed I am to have made so many meaningful memories over the years. Memories of people who touched my life, experiences that changed me for the better, amazing places that enriched my soul. Doing this made me feel better about my life. It encouraged me and gave me a lift. And it only took 10 minutes of my tie. I’ll do it again......soon. If you want a positive experience, if you need some encouragement, if you want to feel good about your life, try The 10 Minute 10 Memory Challenge. You’ll be glad you did.....I promise.
I do this when I’m driving for work instead of listening to the radio sometimes. It is a wonderful idea Chuck!

Great post, your memory challenge also helps when people you love live far away. Recalling fond memories with them helps keep them close at heart. xx

That’s true, but when you get old like me, the memories sometimes aren’t as vivid or readily recalled as they used to be. Thanks for the response.
