Lyrics to the song, ”You Gotta Have Heart,” state the following: ”You gotta have heart, miles and miles and miles of heart.... All you really need is heart. When the odds are sayin you’ll never win that’s when your grin should begin.... When your luck is batten zero Get your chin up off the floor cause you can be a hero You can open any door. There’s nothin to it but to do it.... All you really need is heart.” What does it mean “to have heart?” Helen Keller once said, ”The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or touched. They must be felt from the heart.” Even when you’re down HEART is refusing to stay down. HEART is getting up again and again, giving life all you got, putting everything into what you love and do. HEART is being able to see an open door in the midst of troubles. Finding strength in the midst of distress. Being brave in the midst of fear. Having hope in the midst of darkness. Having faith in the midst of despair. It’s refusing to give up. It’s refusing to give in. It’s refusing to stay down. Having HEART is being able to rise above the most difficult of times. Being able to seize the day, and put your chin up, determined to have a good day. ”There’s nothin to it but to do it. All you really need is heart.”
I love the Helen Keller quote. And I greatly appreciate your output to the world Chuck.
