Over the years
I have received many gifts
and I’m always appreciative of what
I have been given.
But one gift that always stands out in my mind
is when someone gives me the gift of time.
They give me a portion of their life.
It costs nothing….yet it’s priceless.
You can’t wrap it….yet it has great value.
It doesn’t come from a store….
It comes from the heart.
How special I feel when I get
someone’s undivided attention,
when they give me their time.
What a wonderful gift
to give someone.
