Life is like like the leaf
that captures a beam of sunlight
and then transfers its energy to the tree,
serving one purpose in the spring and summer
and another in the fall and winter.
We go through different stages in life
and, like the leaf, 
each stage seems to have
a different focus,
a different purpose to fulfill.
But no matter which stage we’re in
we can glisten and dance
like the morning dew
that drops and sparkles
on the leaves of trees.
May we , like the dew, always glisten.
And may we never stop dancing.
