The mighty hurricane came — powerful, forceful, destructive. Yet in their despair people found things to be thankful for. Beneath the ravagaing storm in the depths of the sea lie precious  pearls. IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO BLOOM

What a surprise I got on this beautiful Autumn Day as I walked through the garden. There, proudly BLOOMING, was a single purple coneflower…. a Late Bloomer. It made me think about life and how it’s never too late to BLOOM. It’s perfectly okay to be a LATE BLOOMER. WHO TOLD THE BUMBLE BEE IT COULDN’T FLY?

According to the theory of aerodynamics, the bumble bee is unable to fly. This is because the size, weight, and shape of its body in relations to the total wing spread makes flying impossible. But the bumble bee, being ignorant of these profound scientific truths, goes ahead and flies anyway and manages to make a little honey every day. I admire people who, like the bumble bee, are told that what they want to do is impossible, yet they go ahead and do it anyway…and do it well. Believing helps to make it so. I’ve come to realize that the language of TENNIS— Break, Serve, Advantage, Fault, Love— is the Language of Life. BREAK Be willling to bend as far as you need to in life, but don’t allow ourself to BREAK. Refusing to give up, refusing to BREAK, is the sign of strong character. LIFE LESSONS FROM ITTY BITTY, THE SPIDER

Itty Bitty Spider Climbed up the water spout. (If life gives you a mountain….climb it.) Down came the rain And washed the spider out. (Sometimes problems can knock us down.)
