Everyone has a dream, something they would like to accomplish. Big or small — it can happen. You’re never too YOUNG....or too OLD. Here are examples to inspire you. 1. Joan of Arc turned a war around at age 17. 2. Pascal developed a calculator at 19. 3. Mozart wrote his first symphony at 8. 4. Phyllis Wheatley became the first African-American woman to be recognized as a published poet....at age 20. 5. Nadia Comaneci won 3 gold medals and seven perfect scores in the 1976 Olympics at the age of 14. NEED MORE INSPIRATION? 6. Harry Bernstein wrote his first book at the age of 93. 7. Gladys Burrell ran her first marathon at the age of 92. 8. At the age of 72, Roget published his first ”Roget’s Thesauras of English Words and Phrases.” 9. Laura Ingalls Wilder published her first “Little House on the Prairie” book at age 65. 10. Susan Boyle launched her singing career at the age of 47. 11. Add your name: _________________ All of this points to one thing: YOU CAN DO IT. AGE DOESN’T MATTER. Add you name to the list — be an example to others. But do it for yourself. Don’t let ANYTHING impede you from accomplishing your dream — not heartache, not failure, not discouragement, not time, not family, not work, NOT AGE. Don’t let anything stop you. Choose to take that first step TODAY. Don’t delay. Step by step, inch by inch, with determination and perseverance, you will eventually see the fruits of your labor. It will happen. No dream is too small No dream is insignificant. The key is.....START. GET GOING. DO IT. If you have to take a pause, do it. But don’t let the pause be permanent. You may have to take several pauses, but keep moving, keep going. Don’t regret that you could have done something, but did nothing. Accomplish. Achieve. Succeed. Those 10 people in the list above did it. So can you. Age doesn’t matter.
Very inspirational and exactly what I needed to hear today. Thank you!
