HOW TO JUMP-START YOUR DAY AND HAVE A POSITIVE OUTLOOK ON LIFE
Sometimes we can feel a little dull in the morning, maybe even a little bit down, and we need something to jump-start our day, something to get us going, something to perk us up, something that will give us a positive start to our day and keep us feeling positive all day. Here’s a tip that works for me. Look around you for just one small thing that reminds you of something positive. It could be a photo or a book you’ve read. It could be a small gift that someone gave you, or a note in a card that someone sent you, it could even be a ring on your finger. The key is to look all around you until you find that one thing that’s positive. Once you find it, reflect upon it. Feel the positive energy it gives you. It will make a difference in your day. I promise. For me this morning, I looked in our yard to find something positive and it didn’t take long to find it. There it was...like it was smiling at me. Spring’s first bloom on the clematis vine that’s crawling up our garden arch. A beautiful blue-purple bloom all alone on the vine. Yesterday it was simply a bud with lots of potential, but today its a full-blown blossom. It spoke to me.....and said, ”You are going to bloom today. Forget about yesterday when nothing was going right. Today is a new day. You’re going to bloom and shine.” It can happen just like that. So go find that one thing that’s positive and reflect upon it. It will jump-start your day and give you a positive outlook on life. I promise.
Always a joy to see!
