O LOVE THAT WILL NOT LET ME GO…..WOW, HOW REASSURING

There’s an old song
I used to sing.
It had a line in it that said,
”O Love That Will Not Let Me Go.”
Wow....what a powerful thought.
Somehow it just popped into my head
as lyrics often do.
And it got me thinking.
What a reassuring feeling
to be loved
with such intensity,
with such depth,
with such grace.
A love that will simply not let me go.
How comforting 
to have the arms of love
wrapped around me
in such a way
that I can do nothing
but rejoice,
give thanks,
and love back
as I am loved.
